IGP PAESTUM ROSATO
From an ancient terroir, in a vineyard in the shadow of the Temples of Paestum, in the heart of the Cilento National Park, a special rosé with a Mediterranean character is born. Vetere San Salvatore 1988 is the elegance that becomes wine, a pure aglianico macerated for 6 hours at cold temperature, then softly pressed with a short contact on the skins to extract only a minimum of colors, elegant and refined aromas. Rosé with a Provencal color, but which speaks of all of Cilento.
Wine has the ability to tell, without saying a word. The limited edition of Vetere talks about the love for Cilento and Paestum. A tribute to the thousand-year history of these places and a small work of art. It tells the indissoluble bond with our roots and the convivial and playful role that wine had in Magna Graecia: The kottabos was the most awaited moment during the symposium. The purpose of the game consisted in hitting a target, a plate or a vase, with the wine left at the bottom of the cup. Generally the prize was the kiss of the loved one, to whom the game was dedicated.
