IGP PAESTUM AGLIANICO BIO SENZA SOLFITI AGGIUNTI
Corleto is a dedication to a village, a jewel, set among the rocks of the Alburni mountains. Cuore lieto, a pure organic aglianico without added sulfites. Vinified with fermentation in steel for 8 days to extract only the noblest part of the Aglianico. Aged 85% in steel tanks for 5 months and 15% in French oak barriques of 1st passage for 5 months. It is a wine of silky tannins with a soft, harmonious taste and rich and intense fruit.
Name in local dialect of Giungano, village where our winery is located. Pure Aglianico, fruit of a selection of grapes vinified at controlled temperature. Maturation in steel tanks, ageing for one year in wood and steel tanks. The delicate vinification and only partial refinement in wood give a harmonious and soft red wine, capable however of preserving a pleasant youthful verve, which is expressed by an intense fruit and a sip characterized by a nice expressive tension.
Only Aglianico aged in steel tanks for eight months. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand in small crates, then vinified with soft pressing, fermentation in steel tanks and maceration at low temperature. Ceraso is an elegant, persistent wine. The delicate vinification and refinement only in steel give a harmonious and soft red wine, capable of maintaining a pleasant youthful verve, and a taste characterized by an intense minerality.
From an ancient terroir, in a vineyard in the shadow of the Temples of Paestum, in the heart of the Cilento National Park, a special rosé with a Mediterranean character is born. Vetere San Salvatore 1988 is the elegance that becomes wine, a pure aglianico macerated for 6 hours at cold temperature, then softly pressed with a short contact on the skins to extract only a minimum of colors, elegant and refined aromas. Rosé with a Provencal color, but which speaks of all of Cilento.
Wine has the ability to tell, without saying a word. The limited edition of Vetere talks about the love for Cilento and Paestum. A tribute to the thousand-year history of these places and a small work of art. It tells the indissoluble bond with our roots and the convivial and playful role that wine had in Magna Graecia: The kottabos was the most awaited moment during the symposium. The purpose of the game consisted in hitting a target, a plate or a vase, with the wine left at the bottom of the cup. Generally the prize was the kiss of the loved one, to whom the game was dedicated.
