Farm and open-air lab for conscious and eco-sustainable production. We are working for a new vision of Cilento, a land where past and future merge
as shown by the two 8s, symbols of infinity, that we have in our name. Cilento is where we make wines that preserve over time the memory of the terroirs where they were created.

San Salvatore 1988 is a group agricultural project but it has two key players: Peppe Pagano and his father Salvatore to whom it is dedicated. It all started in Boscoreale, in the mid-twentieth century, then moving to the flourishing Cilento of the 1980s and becoming, a large farm in 2004. Founded with love, vision and determination.

Our Greco-Roman roots lie in those same places, between the Temples of Paestum and the mountains of Stio,
roots
where 3000 years ago the Hellenes planted vineyards with Aglianico and Greco grapes. Here we value a microclimate with a wealth of biodiversity, perfect for the production of unmistakable wines.

For us doing Agriculture is like dancing with Nature to music that is always new: you are amazed at every variation, you get excited when new instruments
enter and you try to follow the rhythm, with respect and without interfering, and it then does the rest. These may seem like details, but they are what makes things special.
